Today we are offering a sweet antique child’s food pusher utensil. This adorable piece is made of sterling silver, and is of English origin. The handle features an ornartely detailed rococo pattern. The back of the handle is lovingly engraved with the name “Ruth,” and “July 10th ’91” on the edge of the pusher. Baby Ruth was no doubt born with a silver spoon! The pusher is marked with a lion passant mark as well as “sterling” and “D. F. Fero,” which was perhaps the retailer. The pusher measures just under 4″.
This is a wonderful opportunity to add a hard to find piece of sterling to your flatware collection or children’s silverware collection. Fresh to the market!
