Today we are delighted to offer for sale a wonderful vintage Lalique Condor/Vulture bird art sculpture! Lalique is a French luxury glassmaker, founded by renowned glassmaker and jeweller René Lalique in 1888. Lalique is best known for producing glass art, including perfume bottles, vases, and hood ornaments during the early twentieth century. Following the death of René, Lalique transitioned to producing lead glass (crystal) works during the 1950s while under the direction of René’s son, Marc Lalique. This fabulous 1980’s/1990’s figure depicts a perched condor or vulture bird. The figure is signed on the side and also features a “Lalique” label on the front of the base. Figurine presents beautifully and is in excellent vintage condition, with very minimal display wear and no chips or cracks. Add French elegance and style to any fine crystal collection with this fabulous art crystal piece. Fresh to the market!
