Today we are happy to offer for sale this wonderful 1st Edition Tammy Doll, made by Ideal, circa 1962. This sweet doll was Ideal’s answer to the Barbie rage in the early 1960s, less curvaceous and more geared to little girls. Doll is 12″, with the earliest body type: straight legs, bubble cut long hair with bangs, side glancing painted eyes, red lips, rouged cheeks, original blue jumpsuit with white trim. Marked on doll’s head, “c. Ideal Toy Corp., BS-12 and marked “BS-12 3” on the middle of her back. Included in this listing are the following:
