Jack Redmond (1922-2003) was a New Jersey-born Massachusetts-based retired salesman and woodworking folk artist. He started his careers crafting exquisite and unique canes after a knee-injury that forced him to walk with a cane. He was know for his intricate carvings and designs incorporating exotic elements. This walking cane is masterfully hand-crafted and features a bamboo body adorned with a horn handle inset with faux gemstones. The body of the cane features a hand-carved and hand-painted colorful coiled serpent snake. The cane features a rubber tip. Walking stick presents well and is in very good vintage condition, with very minor wear, scuffing and patina commensurate with age.
