This exquisite piece is nicely crafted and detailed. The large (15″) tray is crafted of tin with applied copper decorations. The tray features an ornate and highly-detailed erotic scene of a sultan dancing with a topless odalisque while a topless female musician plays a guitar and a man plays a drum; the background features trees, birds and flowers. The scene is frames by two copper bands that frame the outer tin band decorated with flowers and birds. The reverse side features a later soldered wall-hanging hook. Tray presents well and is in very good antique condition, with minor wear/scuffing, tarnish and patina commensurate with age.
