***BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR OTHER EBAY LISTINGS FOR ADDITIONAL THEODORE HAVILAND LIMOGES APPLE BLOSSOM PIECES!***
Today we are pleased to offer a LOT of 6 Theodore Haviland Limoges assorted porcelain dishes in the Apple Blossom pattern. Great for filling in to round out your set. This lot includes a 10″ dinner plate, (2) 8″ dessert plates, (2) 5 1/2″ fruit bowls, and a 5 1/2″ saucer. These lovely dishes were made by this well respected company in the Limoges section of France and date to the early 20th century. Not to be confused with the later Apple Blossom New York pattern made in the US. This pattern seems to have been made by T Haviland in many editions and variations; we have seen them identified as Schleigher 59H and Schleiger 146N, depending upon the extent of the gilded details. These are considered “double gold” because of the two decorative bands of gilding around the edges. They are marked “Theodore Haviland, Limoges, FRANCE” and some also have an impressed “TH”. Three pieces of the 6 are in very good, used, antique condition with slight wear to the gilding. 3 pieces have chips as well as wear to the gilding: 2 small chips on the rim of the fruit bowl & dessert plate; one large chip on the edge of the dinner plate. PRICED ONLY FOR THE 3 GOOD PIECES! Please also take a moment to see our other listings for additional dinner pieces as well as several hard to find serving pieces. Fresh to the market from a Rhode Island estate.
