DESCRIPTION: This is a gorgeous antique bride’s basket by noted silver company Whiting. The basket is crafted of sterling silver and features a round pedestal base, oval body with elaborate etched floral pattern and a handle with an intricate pierced floral motif. The top of the handle has an “AM” monogram.
The basket is topped with a beautiful pierced brass cover that hooks onto the bowl in four places. Marked on the bottom accordingly.
CONDITION: The basket presents beautifully and is in very good antique condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. There is minimal surface wear, micro-scuffing and tarnish. Please review all photos before purchasing.
DIMENSIONS: 11″ in total height, 10″ in width, appx 7.5″ in depth. Basket measures 5.25″ in from top of table to tallest rim of bowl excluding handle. Base is 4.5″ in diameter.
