DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a stunning circa 1950s Salviati Murano Venetian hand-blown decanter set with 8 cordial glasses!
The set is truly fabulous and a perfect example of the artistry and design Salviati is known for. The set is made of gold-to-clear hand-blown glass which is very delicate. The set is composed of a tall decanter with swirled bulbous body adorned with rosettes, supported by a figural fish/dolphin base, with matching stopper, and 8 matching cordial glasses featuring cylindrical swirled cups supported by small fish/dolphin bases. This whimsical set appears to have been seldom (if ever) used and is in wonderful condition. It will make an outstanding addition to any collection!
The glasses will be professionally packaged and double boxed for shipment, with insurance and signature upon delivery required. We do not mark up shipping costs.
CONDITION: Set presents in excellent vintage condition, with minimal wear commensurate with age and occasional use. There is no damage noted; some glasses may have minor manufacturing imperfections. The glasses have slight differences in shape/size due to the handmade nature of the glassblowing process. Please review all photos. Thank you!
