Today we are happy to offer for sale a beautiful set of 4 Fiesta Ware 8 oz juice tumblers!
These tumblers were originally crafted by Fiesta (a division of Homer Laughlin) sometime between 1936 (when the first colors were produced) and 1948. After that, the only color produced was a grey tumbler from 1951-1952. These are the original 1930s tumblers, not the more modern re-issues, which feature different ribbing.
These cheerful juice tumblers are approximately 3.5 inches tall and will hold about 8 ounces of liquid. You get one each of blue, green, dusty rose/pink, and a bright yellow. These tumblers are slightly tapered and feature .5 inches of horizontal ribbing about .5 inches below the rim. There is a slight variation in height among the tumblers, with the green and pink glasses being slightly shorter.
Tumblers present in very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. There are some marks that occurred in the making of these pieces that should not be considered damage, along with natural color variation commensurate with the creation process. These would make a bright and cheerful addition to any Fiesta collection!
