Today we are offering a large collection of mostly New England, early American, Coin Silver Spoons, recently acquired from an old estate. This listing is for a pair of large coin silver serving spoons made by Lows, Ball & Co., of Boston, Massachusetts. These spoons feature the classic fiddle back design and are faintly monogrammed “P K” in script lettering. They are marked on the back of the handle “Lows, Ball & Company” and date to 1842-46. The spoons weigh 86.7 grams and measure just under 9″. Lovely, very early pieces of coin silver, and a part of our shared US heritage. Buy with confidence — please see our current seller rating!
