19thC Coin Silver H.C. Foster Teaspoon

Today we are offering a nice coin silver spoon with a fiddle back design and bright cut and embossed design on the handle.

It is marked on the back of the handle “H C Foster” and “Pat” in additional illegible numbers.  We believe this was a Providence, Rhode Island silversmith, and dates to the early/mid 19th century.

This spoon is monogrammed “PK” at the handle tip and very lightly etched “Florence” on the back.

The spoon measures just over 6″ and weighs 14.2 grams.
