We are happy to offer for sale a wonderful and rare Freiherr von Poschinger Hahnenkampf (Cock Fight) liqueur set!
The Freiherr von Poschinger Glasmanufacture was founded in 1568 in Frauenau by the Barons von Poschinger, one of the oldest aristocratic families in Bavaria. Frauenau is home to the oldest glass hut in Germany.
This lovely liqueur set dates to the mid 1930’s and features a clear glass tray and a partial set of three stem glasses, all with gilded rims, with Hahnenkampf (Cock Fight) scenic decals with added hand-painted touches. Each glass shows a different stage of the cock fight. The tray retains the original Poschinger foil label. Set presents beautifully and is in very good vintage condition, with very minor wear and patina and patina commensurate with age and light use. There is minor loss to gilding on rims. No chips or cracks. Add whimsical old world elegance to any fine antique and vintage glassware collection with this wonderful set. Fresh to the market!
