Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. was a cutlery and silver hollowware manufacturer in Wallingford, Connecticut, founded in 1866. By c. 1895, the company operated large factories in Wallingford and Montreal, Canada. In 1898, Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. became part of the International Silver Company headquartered in neighboring Meriden. This refined bowl is finely crafted of marked sterling silver. The elegant patter, 727, features a streamlined octagon-shaped Georgian design, on a pedestal base. The piece can be used as a candy/nut dish, sugar bowl, or small vase. The piece is in very good antique condition, with minor wear/scuffing and tarnishing commensurate with age and type of use. Add grace and style to your sterling silver collection with this bowl.
