This large sterling fish server is beautifully crafted and detailed. This Victorian-era piece features a fanciful handle covered in ornate Art Nouveau flower and scroll details, leading down to a wide sterling server blade with ruffled raised edge. This piece is NOT monogrammed. On the back, it is stamped “J.E. Caldwell,” along with some other marks, though these have largely worn away with time. This piece has been jeweler acid-tested and tests positive for sterling silver.
Server presents well and is in very good antique condition, with minor wear/scuffing, tarnish and patina commensurate with age and light use.
