Description
Today we are delighted to offer for sale a wonderful antique Georg Jensen Acorn 3 piece caviar set!
Introduced in 1915, the Georg Jensen Acorn pattern has since become a sterling silver icon. A collaboration between Jensen and designer Johan Rohde, Acorn reflects a timeless marriage of Art Nouveau and Art Deco design that looks as elegant today as it has for more than 100 years.
This beautiful set is finely crafted and detailed. It includes a wide caviar work, spoon and spreader, all with sterling silver handles in the Acorn pattern and blades crafted from horn. Each piece is marked “Georg Jensen Silversmiths Sterling Denmark”. Each utensil comes in its own yellow felt bag that can double as a polishing cloth if you desire.
Set presents beautifully and is in very good antique condition, with very minor surface wear/tarnishing and patina commensurate with age and use. The spreader and fork have minor chips in the horn; please review all photos.
