Description
(We recently came into a collection of assorted Mt. Vernon pattern silverware. To see more of these items, please see our similar listings!)
Here we have one sweeeet lot of two sterling Lunt Mt. Vernon pattern condiment spoons: one 5&5/8″ ‘solid jelly server,’ and one 6″ ‘old style sugar server.’
The back of these spoons bear the sterling mark, as well as the signature “R L B,” which stands for Rogers Lunt & Bowlen, dating these spoons to at least earlier than 1935, when the tradename and signatures were changed to “Lunt.”
The Mt. Vernon pattern started in 1905 and was discontinued in 1997.
Items present nicely showing some minor dark discolorations and surface abrasions, consistent with age and occasional handling. Easily polished if you wished. Please see images.
