Today we are offering for sale a gorgeous and elegant antique Bigelow, Kennard & Co .925 sterling silver creamer.
This heavy piece is a work of art! Bigelow, Kennard & Co of Boston were in operation from 1863 until 1923 and were creators of fine sterling objects and flatware. This creamer is expertly and intricately made in an ornate and regal Baroque pattern. The shapely squatty form is accentuated by dainty clawed feet. The front of the creamer is monogrammed “MGS” (?) in a fanciful manner. This creamer is so pretty it can be used as a decorative piece, and will add instant panache and refinement to any room in your home!
In very good antique condition, with very minimal wear and scuffing from light use. This creamer, along with many other sterling pieces we will be listing all came from a private collection in a fine Providence East Side mansion. Fresh to the market!
