Description
This elegant piece is finely crafted and detailed. The large vegetable/serving bowl is crafted of solid, gleaming silver, in the classic Royal Danish pattern. The bowl features corners are done in a pierced, baroque style with Jensen-like acorns peeking out. The piece is stamped “Royal Danish U.S.A. International Sterling D229-2″ on the underside. This heavy piece works great as a fruit bowl as well.
Dish presents in very good vintage, used condition, with minor scuffing, wear and patina commensurate with age. Some tarnish is present, particularly around base/bottom. We only gave this a cursory polishing; you may wish to do more.
