***BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR OTHER EBAY LISTINGS FOR ADDITIONAL THEODORE HAVILAND LIMOGES APPLE BLOSSOM PIECES!***
Today we are pleased to offer a LOT of 6 Theodore Haviland Limoges 8″ porcelain dessert plates in the Apple Blossom pattern. These lovely plates were made by this well respected company in the Limoges section of France and date to the early 20th century. Not to be confused with the later Apple Blossom New York pattern made in the US. This pattern seems to have been made by T Haviland in many editions and variations; we have seen them identified as Schleigher 59H and Schleiger 146N, depending upon the extent of the gilded details. These are considered “double gold” because of the two decorative bands of gilding around the edges. They are marked “Theodore Haviland, Limoges, FRANCE,” as well as a lightly impressed “TH”. Plates are in good, used condition. One of the plates does not have the double gold rim decoration, just spots of gold on the edge. This plate also has a shallow chip on the underside which extends to the edge. The other plates have varying degrees of wear to the gilding. Please also take a moment to see our other listings for additional dinner pieces as well as several hard to find serving pieces. Fresh to the market from a Rhode Island estate.
