***BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR OTHER EBAY LISTINGS FOR ADDITIONAL THEODORE HAVILAND LIMOGES APPLE BLOSSOM PIECES!***
Today we are pleased to offer a LOT of 6 Theodore Haviland Limoges 7 1/2″ porcelain soup bowls in the Apple Blossom pattern. These lovely bowls were made by this well respected company in the Limoges section of France and date to the early 20th century. Not to be confused with the later Apple Blossom New York pattern made in the US. This pattern seems to have been made by T Haviland in many editions and variations; we have seen them identified as Schleigher 59H and Schleiger 146N, depending upon the extent of the gilded details. These are considered “double gold” because of the two decorative bands of gilding around the edges. They are marked “Theodore Haviland, Limoges, FRANCE, Patent applied for” as well as a lightly impressed “TH”. Bowls are in very good, lightly used condition. Free of chips or cracks and the gilding is good. Please also take a moment to see our other listings for additional dinner pieces as well as several hard to find serving pieces. Fresh to the market from a Rhode Island estate.
