DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a beautiful antique table lamp made by Weller from their “Patricia” line of art pottery. Dating to the 1930s, this great lamp features white matte base, with two figural pelican heads looking out on opposite sides of the lamp base. Raised sea grass/water plant details accent the birds along the base and on the short tapered neck of the piece.
A tall brass pole leads to two pull-chain sockets (in working condition!). Cord is intact.
Underside is unmarked, but this is clearly a Weller piece, and a lovely one at that.
CONDITION: The lamp presents well and is in very good, as-found vintage/antique condition, with minor to moderate display wear and patina commensurate with age. The pottery has crazing throughout, as well as some more moderate finish losses, particularly on the beak of one of the birds, where some minor dings/chips are present.The hardware has moderate wear and light oxidation. There is no finial. The lamp is in working condition. Please review all photos before purchasing.
DIMENSIONS: 15-1/4″ in total height, 5-1/4″ in from tabletop to top of pottery base, and appx. 11″ across (beak to beak). Cord measures 80″ from plug to bottom of base.
