***BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR OTHER EBAY LISTINGS FOR ADDITIONAL THEODORE HAVILAND LIMOGES APPLE BLOSSOM PIECES!***
Today we are pleased to offer a Theodore Haviland Limoges 9″ porcelain oval open serving bowl in the Apple Blossom pattern. This beautiful bowl was made by this well respected company in the Limoges section of France and dates to the early 20th century. Not to be confused with the later Apple Blossom New York pattern made in the US. This pattern seems to have been made by T Haviland in many editions and variations; we have seen it identified as Schleigher 59H and Schleiger 146N, depending upon the extent of the gilded details. This is considered “double gold” because of the two decorative bands of gilding around the edge. Marked “Theodore Haviland, Limoges, FRANCE, Patent applied for”. Very good, used condition. No chips or cracks & gilding is good. Please also take a moment to see our other listings for many dinner pieces as well as several other hard to find serving pieces. Fresh to the market from a Rhode Island estate.
