Description
Today we are excited to offer for sale a very rare and hard to find book, “The Jealousies Of A Country Town” by Honore De Balzac. This is “The First Complete Translation into English” published in 1921 by Peter Fenelon Collier & Son of New York. Honore is known best for his series of writings named “Comedie Humaine”.
This book is in good antique condition, with wear and patina consistent with age and display. Some peeling appears atop the spine and there is some minor wear to corners. The bindings are tight and sound while the pages are clean and mildly age toned around the corners. No mold, pet, or smoke odor or other surprises.
