Per the son of James Seeman (who contacted us thru eBay):
“My father was an opera lover who lived in New York, went to the Metropolitan Opera and knew some of the performers as personal friends. He was perhaps the highest quality mid-Century designer and producer of hand-printed murals. The miniatures in the book were screen printed on a machine, I think. The mural strips themselves were hand-printed, color by color. Even the process of color separation for making the silk screens was a combination of photographic and hand-tracing of black ink on acetate. This was a mural collection of which he was very proud.”
There is damage to the last page which you can see pictured.
