Today we are delighted to offer for sale an antique 1920’s Cracker Jack miniature dollhouse furniture couch, made by Marx! Cracker Jack is an American brand of snack consisting of molasses-flavored, caramel-coated popcorn and peanuts, well known for being packaged with a prize inside. The Cracker Jack name was registered in 1896. A slogan, “The More You Eat The More You Want”, was also registered that year. Some food historians consider it the first junk food! This prize was made by Marx (in business until 1980), and depicts a tin litho red and yellow enamel miniature dollhouse sofa. The piece is very good antique condition, with very minimal wear from being played with a handful of times. This precious piece of dollhouse furniture will make a great addition to any fine miniature collection, and will make a great gift to any collector of vintage Cracker Jack prizes. Fresh to the market!
