SOLD! Large Vintage Ornate Georgian Silver Plate Urn Vase Trophy Champagne Wine Cooler

Today we are happy to offer for sale a lovely vintage ornate silver plate Champagne or Wine Cooler.  In the shape of a handled urn or trophy, this large piece measures a generous 10 1/2″ in height.  Handles are done in a Rococo style with flourishes and feathers. Top edge is rimmed with a floral pattern interrupted by swags and flourishes. This piece is unusual in that it has an aluminum liner which fits securely inside the body, offering protection from exposure to water.  It is unmarked as to manufacture or origin, but we believe this is the product of an early/mid century US silver company. Piece is in very good, vintage, pre-owned condition.  There are minor surface scratches and areas which need further polishing.  There are three vertical lines on the bottom of the stem which supports the body of the piece, possibly from manufacture.  An impressive piece for your mantle and for the table setting for a celebration. Fresh to the market from a Rhode Island estate!
