Today we are happy to offer for sale a lovely pair of antique Victorian gold and carved onyx earrings! These beautiful, “Grand Tour” neoclassical-style earrings are intricately and expertly crafted and detailed.
Each earring features a solid and marked 14k gold oval frame setting with etched arabesque detailing.
The settings are inset with a pair of wonderfully-carved tri-color black/white/red layered onyx cameo double portraits of Roman soldiers. Earrings present very well and are in very good antique condition, with very minimal wear/tarnishing and patina commensurate with age. Earring backs do not match.
