Description
Here we have a gorgeous antique Art Deco lady’s watch. This Elgin watch is crafted from solid 14K yellow gold and features a 19 jewel movement. The face of the white round dial watch reads “ELGIN” and surrounding the dial is a thin piece of mother of pearl. This watch is a fantastic example of Art Deco design, with dozens of tight geometric lines on the 14k band gradually splaying out away from the dial, to eventually form a single line on the last link. The watch movement itself reads “ELGIN”, “832” “19 JEWELS”, “ADJD”, and “USA”. The back of the case is stamped “14k” and the inside of the case reads “844 59”. The clasp on the watch band is also marked “14k”. The watch also features a safety chain.
Watch is in fantastic cosmetic condition with some light surface wear from age and very occasional handling. It was just professionally serviced and is running perfectly.
