Description
DESCRIPTION: This is a stunning antique bracelet originating from Egypt, and inherited by our consignor while living in the Middle East in the 1950’s. The bangle features a delicate solid gold frame, with lovely etched floral design on the outer border. The piece is un-marked (typical of a lot of Egyptian jewelry not intended for export) but we’ve acid-tested it, and it stands up to 22K acid (we don’t have any 24k acid). Since a lot of Egyptian gold was made from pure (or nearly pure) gold we believe the gold content is likely higher, but we are representing it as 22k gold to be on the safe side. This beautiful bracelet will make a great investment piece and also a fine addition to any collection!
CONDITION: The bangle presents well and is in very good, occasionally-used antique condition, with very minor wear, micro-scuffing, tarnish/patina, and perhaps some very, very slight imperfection in roundness (unavoidable with high-karat gold) not noticeable when worn but mentioned for accuracy. Please review all photos before purchasing.
Please note: Shipping costs are virtually all insurance. We do not mark up shipping.
