DESCRIPTION: Today we are pleased to offer for sale an iconic chair by the renowned designed John Eric Byers! The chair was handcrafted by the artist in 1991 and is signed on the rear leg (JEB 1991). It is done in the late Memphis/Post Modern style so evocative of the early 1990’s. The frame is made of ebonized wood and features a classical-inspired saber legged design with half moon back rest. The round, roomy seat is upholstered with thick and rich dark purple velvet. This timeless and elegant side chair will look stunning in any well appointed interior and is a must-have for any lover of fine, one-of-a-kind artisan furniture.

CONDITION: The chair presents well and is in very good vintage, gently-used condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age. The frame is sturdy; it does have some very light scuffing on back rest and edge of legs, and a few minor negligible nicks and light scratches (not immediately noticeable). The velvet seat has light wear and a few very small faint spots. Please review all photos before purchasing.
