Today we are happy to offer for sale a rare antique Ocean City Mfg. Co. altitude gauge. The Ocean City Mfg. Co. of Philadelphia, PA was founded in 1923 after the merger of Moskowitz & Herbach and Sturdibilt Products Co and produced calibrated scales and fishing and boating equipment.
This vintage analog altitude gauge is nicely crafted. The piece features a black enameled body with glass cover and bottom connection with white face with black graphics and red pointer. Aside from minor shelf wear the piece appears to have never been used but is being sold un-tested.
Gauge presents well and is in very good vintage condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age. There are a few minute scuffs to painted finish.
