This exquisite piece, from the late 19th/early 20th century, is beautifully crafted and detailed. The water pitcher is crafted of peachblow satin glass with rose pink fading into white rotund body. The piece features a dramatic duck-billed ruffled rim/spout and clear frosted reeded applied handle, with polished pontil mark. The body features a spot optic air-trap mother of pearl design. Although the maker is unverified the piece is on par quality and design wise with pieces made by Phoenix and Mt. Washington.
The piece presents well and is in very good antique condition, with minor wear, scuffing, and patina commensurate with age. One side has a manufacturing imperfection/spot embedded in the glass. No chips or cracks.
