Description
Today we are happy to offer for sale a rare vintage framed artist sketch concept model Ford Lincoln Mercury Zephyr patch!
This wonderful model is a design for a patch for the Mercury Zephyr automobile. From 1978 to 1983 the Lincoln-Mercury division of Ford sold a version of the Ford Fairmont as the Mercury Zephyr. The name recalls the Lincoln-Zephyr line of the mid to late 1930s and the English Ford Zephyr of the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s. The Zephyr was offered in the same four body styles as the Fairmont, including a version of the Futura coupe sold as the Zephyr Z-7. This masterfully and skillfully executed large scale drawing model for a patch is professionally framed in a triple-matted aluminum frame. The framed artwork includes two embroidered fabric patches that match the framed design.
Item presents very well and is in excellent vintage condition with very minimal display wear. Frame is in very good condition, with very minimal display wear/scuffing. This is a great piece of artwork that will make a truly awesome addition to any Ford and Lincoln car memorabilia collection!
