Today we are offering a R.B. Graflex Series B large format 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 camera, manufactured by the Folmer and Schwing division of the Eastman Kodak Company from approximately 1923 to 1951 . This camera features a Kodak Anastigmat F 4.5 6&5/8″ lens, serial number “32138”. A metal plaque on the focus viewing hood reads, “R.B. Graflex Series B Curtain Aperture” with a chart of information for 6 different tension settings. This is a great camera for any photographer or camera collector.
Camera appears to be in complete condition, seemingly with all its original parts. However, we are not photography experts so we are unable to test this camera to see if it is in working condition, so we are selling this untested, “as is.” What we believe to be the tension wheel has a little trouble budging, but perhaps that is the point, but all other features seem to function to the best of our limited knowledge. The body is in great condition, with only some slight wear, consistent with age. Lens shows no cracks, mold or other imperfections that would be visible to the naked eye.
