This exquisite piece is the epitome of fine Japanese style and craftsmanship. The lamp features an old Japanese Satsuma ware baluster-shaped pottery vase. The piece is heavily decorated and intricately hand-painted. The vase features a three-dimensional high relief raised dragon motif. The dragon is overlaid and wrapped around the entire background scene. The center motif depicts the beautiful and serene Guan Yin being worshiped by several immortals, all wearing fine court attire. The vase features bright gilding and luxurious and warm colors, with applied raised textured decorations throughout. The vase is attached to a fitted stepped brass base with matching brass cap and mounted as a lamp. The piece features a brown silk-wrapped cord and is ready to be used and enjoyed! This stately and elegant lamp will be the perfect accent piece for any buffet, console table, desk, nightstand, or anywhere where a visual-impact stylish lamp is needed!
