DESCRIPTION: Hummel collectors, it’s here! This is a rare opportunity to own one of the most sought-after Hummel statues, in incredible condition!

“Apple Tree Girl,” one of Goebel’s most famous figurines, features a young girl in traditional German costume sitting in an apple tree covered in delicate apple blossoms. A sweet bluebird sings from the top branch of the tree. What makes this piece truly special is its size…a staggering 32+ inches from base to top! We’ve included the 4.5 inch figurine for scale (identical minus the bluebirdand the detail), which you will receive with your purchase as well.

This lovely, large statue sits atop a round base with “M.J. Hummel” incised in script on one side. The underside is glazed white and bears the stamp “141/X” on one side and the TMK5 trademark Goebel stamp, along with the stamp “1976” and what appears to be a signature on the other side. Small figurine is also stamped accordingly.

This wonderful piece was purchased by our consignor’s grandmother, a very wealthy and colorful Italian woman, in Germany in the early 1980’s. According to family legend, the lady had a first class seat bought for the statue so it could travel next to her on the way back to the States!

These were NOT widely produced and are very difficult to find these days, particularly in such stunning condition. Don’t miss out!
