A remainder note is a term used for unsigned, non issued obsolete bank notes. This $50 obsolete bank note was issued by The Warwick Bank, which was incorporated at the village of Apponaug, Warwick, Rhode Island in February, 1818. The bank continued business until 1859. The note features ornate elegant design details depicting a lovely young lady tending to a herd of cows, a young woman feeding hay to a horse, and a blacksmith. Note presents well and is in good antique condition, with minor wear, toning/patina commensurate with age. There is minor edge wear; the upper right $50 medallion has a tear/hole.
