Today we’re happy to offer for sale a signed print by Rhode Island artist Grace Bentley-Scheck. The artist is a resident of Narragansett, RI and was educated at the NY State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her pieces are in many galleries and she has exhibited and won numerous awards at local and regional shows.
This piece is numbered 15 out of 100 and features a scene of East Providence entitled “New Rivers.” The scene shows one of the bridges in downtown Providence over the Providence River leading to East Providence with the steeple of the old Baptist Church in the background. We believe this print making process is called collagraphy with a silk aquatint.
This beautiful scene measures a generous 22″ H x 30″ L and is professionally framed with a white matte in a brushed silvertone frame measuring 38-1/4″ L x 30-3/8″ H.
Print presents very well and is in excellent condition; frame has very minimal scuffing to corners. A wonderful addition to a Providence or Rhode Island art collection, and a piece that will appeal to a wide range of art collectors.
