DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a beautiful antique Chinese Export porcelain ginger jar from the Qing dynasty, Guangxu period. The jar is finely crafted and detailed, and made of porcelain. It features a rotund body on a wide flat base. The jar is decorated with lovely Fencai multi-color enameled over and underglaze designs depicting a charming bird amidst colorful blossoming flowers. One side of the jar features Chinese characters, and iron red mark. The jar comes with a fitted carved wood lid. Fresh from a local prominent estate. What a wonderful addition to any collection!
CONDITION: The bowl presents well and is in good antique condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age and display. There is light surface wear, minor losses to enameling decorations, and a few minor manufacturing flaws/skips in glaze. There are a few minor fleabites on inner rim lip (not seen unless lid is removed). The wood lid has some wear and scuffing. Please review all photos before purchasing. Thank you!
