Today we are excited to offer for sale a very beautiful and rare Wolfers Freres seafood pick/fork! Wolfers Freres was a world-renowned and highly-praised, Brussels, Belgium based luxury shop that specialized in objets de vertu, jewelry and silver. The shop opened in 1912 at rue d’Aremberg where the famous art nouveau architect, Victor Horta, designed a new building for them. This stunning 800 silver lobster pick is intricately and expertly cast and detailed in a refined neoclassical Louis XVI-style. This fabulous lobster pick will add gilded age elegance to any refined collection; truly an elegant and sophisticated way to degust a delicacy such as lobster. The pick is in very good antique condition, with minor wear/scuffing/tarnishing/tine distortion from occasional use. This lobster pick, along with many other sterling pieces and silver pieces we will be listing all came from a private collection in a fine Providence East Side mansion. Fresh to the market!
