1950s Steiff Toy Dog Dally Sitting Dalmatian Collar W/tag Mohair

Today we are offering a wonderful 1950s Steiff Dalmatian dog, “Dally.”  This little cutie is made of mohair with a velveteen open mouth.  He measures approximately 4″ in height and 5.5″ from head to tail.  He has his original red collar with an affixed paper chest tag.  Features glass eyes, stitched nose, and swivel head.   No ear button or flag — these were often taken off when given to children.  Has been lovingly cared for and stored.  Such a sweet addition to your Steiff collection or posed with antique dolls.  Please be sure to check out our other auctions for a little Susi cat that has been a companion to this dog for years!
