Today we are happy to offer for sale a beautiful antique unsigned original Maude Fenner oil painting! Maude Richmond Fenner (1868-1950) was born in Bristol, Rhode Island. She married Dr. Alberl Fenner in 1890, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design under S.R. Burleigh and F.C. Mathewson. She painted chiefly in watercolor. She was a member of the Providence Art Club, Providence Watercolor Club. and the South County Art Association. This colorful and vibrant oil on canvas board painting is masterfully executed, with Fenner’s traditional style and technique. The painting depicts a lovely colonial building located at Ferry Farm in Bristol. The painting features warm and inviting colors. The picture is expertly painted and masterfully detailed. The oil is framed in an elegant ornate gilt wood frame, and is ready to be hung, admired, and enjoyed! Painting present beautifully and is in very good antique condition, with very minor display wear and patina. Painting surface is clean and bright and free of any visible repairs. Frame is in very good condition, with minor wear/scuffing and tarnishing to gilding.
