Today we are happy to offer for sale a wonderful antique Knights Templar Masonic 14k Gold fob! The Knights Templar, full name The United Religious, Military and Masonic Orders of the Temple and of St John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and Malta, is a fraternal order affiliated with Freemasonry. This beautiful antique fob is beautifully and expertly crafted and detailed. The fob is made up of several elements, of which the two swords and knight’s helmet are semi-articulated. The piece is un-marked but crafted of jeweler-tested 14k gold, with some of the elements testing on the lower side of 14k (13k gold), which is fairly common for antique pieces of this sort. The fob is bi-fold, and the front features the Knights Templar’s emblem of a cross and crown (adorned with five chip diamonds) laid upon a red enamel cross pattée inscribed with “In Hoc Signo Vinces (In this sign you will conquer)” resting upon downward pointing swords in saltire in gold and black enamel. The back features the two headed eagle and the 32nd degree marker in black enamel. The 32nd degree is the Master of the Royal Secret in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Under the hinged back is the Mason’s scale in white enamel. The back of the eagle is engraved “H.B. Blenkhorn Westboro Mass”. The edges of the fob are engraved “F. Hutchinson/ Milford/ Commandery”. Fob presents beautifully and is in excellent antique condition, with very minimal wear/scuffing/patina commensurate with age. The lower half of the enamel red cross has a minuscule (and very hard to notice) imperfection. This is a wonderful opportunity to own a rare and very beautiful antique Knights Templar fob! This special piece will make a fine addition to any Masonic artifact and jewelry collection. Fresh to the market!
