Today we are happy to offer for sale a wonderful antique Bradley & Hubbard cast iron and brass plant stand! The Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company was formed in 1852 in Meriden, Connecticut, and over the years produced Art Brass tables, call bells, candlestick holders, clocks, match safes, lamps, architectural grilles, railings, etc. Overall the company patented 238 designs and mechanical devices. This fabulous antique Art Nouveau-style plant/statue stand is finely crafted and detailed. The piece features cast iron and cast brass elements. The tripod base is composed of three ornate swirled-motif floral art nouveau legs connected to a floral low relief cap and joined at the top to a center solomonic-style column supporting the ornate reticulated floral rococo/art nouveau edged top.
