Today we are pleased to offer for sale a wonderful antique Georgian 19th century Wildman Smith sterling silver serving/stuffing spoon! This rather large and beautifully-designed spoon bears the lion passant guardant sterling mark, crowned lion for London (pre-1822), George’s head assay mark (1786-1821), date mark “S” for 1813, and makers mark “W.S” for Wildman Smith (registered 1781). Spoon presents beautifully and in very good vintage condition, with very minimal wear/scuffing and tarnishing commensurate with age. There is one minute spot on the top of handle; there are two minute spots on the underside of handle. This truly fabulous antique sterling spoon will make a great addition to any fine sterling silver collection out there. An elegant spoon for an elegant hostess/host. Fresh to the market!
