1930’s Art Deco Boch Freres Keramis D1173 Charles Catteau Vase

Today we are selling a Keramis vase designed by Charles Catteau (1880-1966), from the Art Deco period! The vase, model number D1173, is made from a slip-cast form and features decoration enamelled with geometric flowers and foliage in burnt umber and black on a crazed white ground. The body is decorated with four juxtaposed groups of stylized flowers, connected at the neck and foot by stylized leaves. The vase presents beautifully and it is in very good antique condition, with very minimal wear and patina from being on display. There is one minor and virtually invisible from the outside stable hairline surface imperfection on the inside of the neck, hence the great bargain price.
